Carol rusoff

Carol Rusoff is a veteran theatre teacher and director, recipient of a Greater London Council Arts Grants for her London Street Theatre. She created and directed London Pub Lunchtime Theatre while teaching  at Kingston College on Thames and Mountview Theatre School. Carol was a founding member of the groundbreaking Los Angeles Company Theatre and taught at The University of California at Los Angeles.  She developed and directed original projects including Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s A Coney Island of The Mind which traveled to the Edinburgh Festival and was filmed by the BBC. She was a teaching artist in residence with various NYC theatre companies before teaching at La Guardia High School for the Arts and chairing the theatre department at the Calhoun School.  Since moving to Columbia County, Carol has received various local grants for her originated work. She founded and ran the Hudson Teen Theatre Project at the Hudson Opera House for 15 years, while continuing to originate, develop and direct both solo and ensemble theatre pieces in Los Angeles and New York.
