MARTINA ANGELA MÜLLER
From Angeloi to Seraphim: Nine Angelic Hierarchies
June 19-July 26, 2026

From Angeloi to Seraphim: Nine Angelic Hierarchies is a solo exhibition of paintings by Martina Angela Müller. Through luminous layers of color and atmosphere, the exhibition explores the activity of the nine angelic hierarchies and their relationship to the evolution of humanity, nature, and the cosmos.

For Müller, painting is both an artistic and contemplative practice. Rooted in lifelong study and meditation, these works arise from an ongoing inquiry into the presence of angelic intelligences and the ways they manifest through qualities such as warmth, light, love, wisdom, movement, and form. The resulting paintings seek to make visible forces that are ordinarily experienced only indirectly, offering viewers an opportunity to engage with dimensions of reality beyond the material world.

As Müller writes, “It is comforting to think that we are not alone in the universe, but that great angelic forces support us at every moment.” Throughout the exhibition, each painting serves as a window into the activity of a particular angelic hierarchy, while also revealing the artist's own process of research, meditation, and artistic transformation.

Müller's paintings emerge through a highly intuitive yet disciplined practice. Canvases begin with flowing fields of acrylic paint laid horizontally, allowing fluid movement and elemental forces to shape the initial composition. Over many months, successive layers of oil paint are built up to create luminosity, depth, and radiance. Through this process, the works become atmospheric spaces in which imagination, inspiration, and intuition may be experienced as living realities.

In From Angeloi to Seraphim, Müller presents painting as a means of perceiving and contemplating the spiritual dimensions of existence. The exhibition invites viewers to encounter color, light, and form not merely as aesthetic phenomena, but as expressions of a cosmos imbued with intelligence, meaning, and creative purpose.

Martina Angela Müller was born in Korbach, Germany, and began painting and sculpting at an early age. She studied at Ruhruniversität Bochum, Emerson College in England, the Institute for Waldorf Pedagogy in Witten-Annen, Germany, and Empire State University, New York.
